Speleological Survey Group of Yamaguchi University is a caving club of Yamaguchi University. It was produced in 1960 by Prof. M. Kawano of an earth science classroom of the Department of Education of Yamaguchi University.
For 40 years, main investigation have been done in Akiyoshi-dai (limestone area). Besides, we have investigated about caves distributed in Gifu, Hiroshima, Fukuoka and Kagoshima. Investigation of caves related to Akiyoshi-do Cave is done mainly currently. When you visit Akiyoshi-dai of Yamaguchi , please inform willingly.
